Gate 50, The Gate of Values
Oct 19 - Oct 24
The mystical name for this gate is The Guardian.
Our attention turns to caring for and nurturing the relationships we hold most dear: friends, family, and community. Here we establish the values and rules that guide our relationships with others.
At the heart of Gate 50 is the body’s intelligence, the instinct to recognize what’s correct in our relationships with others. In a sense, YOU are the Cauldron, and your instinct guides you.
Everything you are, and all that you know, is put into the Cauldron and emerges uniquely as you. Within this alchemical process lies an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how you relate to others, and the magic that unfolds when your inner and outer worlds meet.
Every value or rule you establish in your life carries a responsibility. Where do you need to set boundaries with others?
Do you do what’s expected of you, even when it doesn’t match what you know to be true for you?
Discovering what’s correct for you, and how you behave in your inner and outer worlds, is an alchemical process that deserves your reverence.
At its heart, this transit is about supporting others and being supported in return. To thrive in relationship, a balance is needed.
We’re moving through the Quarter of Duality, where purpose is fulfilled through relationships and bonding. What we value, what we protect, and what we’re willing to take responsibility for all play a part in the bonds we create and sustain.
Meanwhile, the Earth in Gate 3, Ordering, grounds us in the challenge of new beginnings. Sometimes what has sustained us must be reconsidered as something new begins to emerge. There may be confusion before a new order takes shape.
Perhaps it’s time to contemplate whether you’re being true to your own unique tribal law.
What if the Cauldron is stirring something within you? Can you feel what’s ready to be transformed? And will you trust your instinct to know when it’s time to stir the pot?
Only you know the answers for you.
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO SET YOURSELF ON FIRE TO KEEP OTHER PEOPLE WARM. ~Unknown
