The IHDS website offers a fantastic and very thorough fifty page, customized, computer printout on a BodyGraph for a very reasonable fee. As great and detailed as it is, it doesn’t replace a Foundation Reading from a Certified Analst. All that any computer program can do is identify and describe the BodyGraph as separate elements. It can only provide generalized information about each of those elements. A computer program cannot process, synthesize, and integrate a BodyGraph in a holistic manner the way that a Certified Analyst can. When Synthesized together, the BodyGraph describes a new dynamic that surpasses the generic, isolated information.
Every book, manual, and recording Ra ever produced or authorized, and there is an abundance of information found in the Jovian Archive, can only provide generalized information about any one specific element. This plethora of information, which truly is a gift to humanity, has the limitation of being universalized in its description. It is in the almost limitless combination of elements that the Energy comes to life. How to bring the BodyGraph together, in what I call “Telling The Story”, requires more than describing information separately. It takes a great deal of study and apprenticeship, with the guidance of someone experienced in the process, to be able to do justice to the nuance of each BodyGraph. This requires the highly sophisticated communication ability of a human that a program simply can’t duplicate.
A novice will often reduce the a BodyGraph to an over emphasis of Type; assuming Human Design is just another profiling system that reduces humanity to a small number of groups sharing certain dynamics. They will declare “I’m a Generator” as if that really identifies them and is all there is to know. Not only does this invalidate the unique expression of any human being, it completely dismisses the sophistication of the Human Design System. A computer program is similar in that all it can do is list basic information about all the separate elements. The information is fantastic and extremely helpful as a supplement to a Foundation Reading. The Certified Analyst has spent years and countless hours learning, recognizing, and embodying how all the various stuff found in a BodyGraph work together. This is what ultimately matters and makes a difference.
In PTL1, the Student and Instructor spend the better part of a year uncovering the voice of the Student in reading a BodyGraph. This is not an intellectual process. It is something that emerges as the Student moves beyond knowledge and simplistic catch phrases. It is the Certified Human Design Analyst that has the ability and skill to let the BodyGraph speak through them to the Client. No computer program can relate to the essence of what it means to be a human being. In truth, it is not easy to read a BodyGraph. My goal, as a PTL1 Instructor, is to have each Student become an Artist of the Human Design System; bringing life to the illustration of a BodyGraph. I strive to empower each Student to boldly dive in to the miracle of life, inspiring others to fall in love with who there are, shaking off the shackles of being homogenized to be yet another duplicate of the Not Self Monkey Mind.
