The Creative Code Class provides the tools to understand your creative potential and how you express it. It also helps you know how your shadows can get in the way of expressing that potential.
There are seven channels in the bodygraph serve as a starting point for how each circuit expresses its creative potential. Here’s a list:
Integration Channels – Channel 10-57 Perfected Form
Individual Knowing Circuit – Channel 1-8 Inspiration/Being a Creative Role Model
Individual Center Circuit – Channel 25-51 Initiation/Needing to be First
Collective Abstract Circuit – Channel 35-36 Transitoriness/Being a ‘Jack of All Trades’
Collective Logic Circuit – Channel 16-48 Wavelength/Talent
Tribal Ego Circuit – Channel 26-44 Surrender/Transmitter
Tribal Defense Circuit – Channel 59-6 Mating/Focused on Reproduction
Let’s give an example of how this works:
Pick a gate or channel in your design. Or you can follow along with me, and we’ll do this together. Let’s start with Gate 5, for simplicity’s sake. This is the Gate of Fixed Rhythms – Waiting. You can best think of it as your routines, the things you like to do daily.
Starting to decode the Creative aspect of this simple gate
Let’s start to orient to this gate. A gate or channel never exists “on its own.” They always reside in a specific place in the bodygraph. This is where we’ll begin to unlock this one gate’s creative potential. Let’s explore Gate 5 and where it’s located:
Center: Sacral Center
Circuit: Collective Logic
Associated Creative Channel: 16-48
Okay, we now have a sense of the bigger picture and can begin to unlock the creative potential and the power of routines in your life.
The Creative Channel of Talent (16-48) follows the ‘rules’ of the Logic circuit. For Talent to reach mastery, a skill must be repeatedly honed and refined over time. The act of repetition is where the nuances of mastery begin to take shape.
How does that apply to Gate 5 and its routines?
These routines serve as a foundation for your health and well-being, and you must follow them consistently. But what routines are best for me? That’s not a decision that comes from the mind. It’s the job of the Sacral’s gut response that lets you know what routines to follow and which to let go of.
Where is the creativity in routines?
Talk to anyone with this gate; they’ll tell you in great detail how much they LOVE their routines. I have this gate in my design, and I’ve noticed that following specific patterns daily brings me great joy.
When you do something each day, you’ll notice something interesting; there are myriad nuances to even the simplest of routines. It’s never the same action twice, no matter how similar it looks. This variation, when approached mindfully, turns a simple act into something more significant. Therein lies the creative potential of this one gate.
The Creative Code helps provide the ‘rules’ to ultimately unlock the creative potential of each aspect of your design.
If you are interested in exploring your creativity in a more nuanced way, I look forward to seeing you in the Creative Code class starting on May 16th.
