Ra’s Words of Wisdom
The line is just the surface. Whenever you’re looking at lines, you need to see them in that metaphor of the actor and the actress. You really do. You need to see that the line in and of itself is not where the source is coming from. Underneath that line is what’s carrying all the information. It is carrying the nuances that are going to make the expression of that line potentially so different from anybody else’s expression of that line.
The nature of the 12.4, The Prophet, it sounds very nice, and yet the way in which that 4th line is going to be expressed is totally dependent on what is underneath and whether that underneath is actually going to reach the surface. Because in fact, when you describe somebody’s line, somebody that’s new to Human Design, they come to you as an analyst, they’re there for a reading, you describe that line to them and they nod their head like sheep. They nod their head up and down—my head is going up and down—and their reaction is, “This is me.”
But the generic description of that line is, in fact, something that many, many, many, many others are going to have the same reaction to. And of course, Human Design is about uniqueness. It is about differentiation. Not all those 12.4s are intended to be alike at all. As a matter of fact, they’re all intended to be able to deliver it differently.
