Gate 63, The Gate of Doubt
March 1 - March 6
LIFE MOVES BACK AND FORTH IN AN ENDLESS SPIRAL.
The path isn’t a straight line; it’s a spiral. You continuously come back to things you thought you understood and see deeper truths. ~ Barry H. Gillespie
It may seem strange that After Completion (63) precedes Before Completion (64) in the I’Ching – Book of Changes.
One possible explanation is that the hexagrams were arranged this way to remind us that nothing ever really comes to an end.
Life moves back and forth in an endless spiral.
During this Transit the Sun is in Gate 63 and it’s grounded by the Earth in Gate 64.
What you may notice is an unusual balance and beauty during this transit. It’s like a dance between yesterday and tomorrow – between cycles and patterns – between experiencing and proving.
Life may be built on logic … however is lived out in your experiences of life.
The abstract energy that grounds you tries to make sense of the past and the logical energy tries to anticipate the future.
When you’re busy focusing on the past or the future, what you may miss is the present moment where your life is lived and is rich with experience in your body.
Your beautiful mind can be full of so much wisdom to share … or it can torture you with fears and thoughts of the way things should be.
Mental anxiety and doubt can steal your precious moments in the ‘now.’
“Do not think that you know. Be aware of all that is, and dwell in the infinite…” ~ Zhuangzi
While you look to the future … stay grounded in the past. Sometimes the suspicions and doubts during this transit may seem a bit like a seesaw.
And, since the potential for this is not only personal – but global – be aware there is potential for more mental anxiety and skepticism around you than normal.
Stay true to who you are – make decisions that are correct for you – and don’t let mental pressures drive you to make decisions for your life that don’t serve you.
The intensity of this will pass, like a refreshing spring rain, and bring us back to the grace of our emotions next week.
Love Yourself,
Ruth Brennan
