Gate 56, Stimulation
July 19 - July 24
THE WORLD IS SHAPED BY THE STORIES WE TELL & THE MEMORIES THEY LEAVE BEHIND.
Spellbinding voices that stimulate and delight us with stories of their adventures emerge from the energy of this transit.
Throughout the ages our rich history was communicated by those who wandered the countryside. They brought tales of dragons and kings, floods and prophets, and heroes who sailed the seas in search of treasure to those who would eagerly listen.
The ancient bards roamed from village to village sharing stories of what they witnessed and the stories that they were told. These stories were likely embellished each time by the individuals who shared them.
These colorful tales that were spun stimulated the formation of our ideals and beliefs. However, they weren’t necessarily the whole truth.
What was (or is) shared about our lives usually has facts sprinkled throughout, but the unique lessons come from your interpretation of the experience tinged with emotional overtones.
Stories add colorful threads to the expanding tapestry of humanity’s progress throughout all time.
Oral traditions of storytelling predate printed materials and give you a connection to your history before pen was put to paper. Storytelling was used to explain natural phenomena, creation, and gave birth to a wide variety of gods and myths.
Storytellers were regarded as healers, spiritual guides, teachers, cultural secret keepers and entertainers. It can be seen as a foundation for learning and teaching. While listeners are engaged, the possibility arises to imagine new perspectives and invites a transformative and empathetic experience.
Taking the road less traveled can invigorate your sense of discovery. Will you listen to other people’s stories and be open to how a new perspective may lead you to experience something completely new or different about yourself?
What stories will you share and what stories will you hear during this transit?
Your life can be a place of boundless discovery.
Love Yourself,
Ruth Brennan
