Gate 54, The Gate of Ambition

THERE IS A VOICE THAT DOESN’T USE WORDS. LISTEN. Rumi
The Sun is transiting the Gate of Ambition and it may bring the question, “What else is there?” This frequency is the source and drive to rise-up the ladder and improve your situation.
It’s cosmic weather that supplies energy for everyday ambitions – and – also the highest spiritual aspirations and the mystical and cosmic relationships that may be hidden within them.
My birthday comes during this transit. I have a deep, deep connection to this energy, and it resonates with me on so many levels. Looking back at my life, I can see this energy playing out repeatedly. I live out cycles of material and spiritual transformation. It has been so helpful for me to understand that it’s part of my nature to help others transform as well. I rise and heal with each cycle I share with others. I also recognize that ambition without direction and an inner commitment to support can bring resistance and frustration … especially when I haven’t honored my instincts and inner authority.
Put another way, if I do what I ‘think’ I should do or what someone else wants me to do and it’s not correct for me … it’s usually an epic fail.
Your inner drive to ‘rise-up’ can also provide the catalyst for transformation for those around you. It can level the playing field for others to compete on equal terms.
Are you feeling extra pressure to succeed right now? And, do those ambitions have a direction that is correct?
The Earth energy brings an additional pressure to start something new. And, this force can begin a new cycle … be mindful that it’s a correct cycle for you.
Right after the calendar new year there is a lot of buzz about intentions and resolutions. Many seem to want to ‘start anew’ and improve their position in one way or another.
And, there’s nothing wrong with that.
Ask yourself if the intention or resolution you’re making is correct for you? Is the decision being made from your own inner authority or the pressure of the season or those around you?
Once you’ve mastered your survival (food, shelter, clothing) then true transformation of a spiritual nature becomes possible. The Kabbalists refer to this as finding “the point in the heart.” It’s the place or time when you ask yourself – ‘what else is possible?’ What is the deeper meaning of my life? The next Solar Transit highlights this energy as we continue to finish up the business of this cycle and prepare for the Rave New Year on January 22nd.
