Gate 15, The Gate of Extremes

June 18 - June 24

LOVE IS SEEING THE UNITY UNDER THE IMAGINARY DIVERSITY. –  Sri Nisargadatta

The Sun is transiting the Gate of Extremes during the June Solstice (Summer in the Northern Hemisphere and Winter in the Southern Hemisphere). This energy is about balancing extremes and the light of the Sun is grounded by love of the behavior of the self. If you can love and accept yourself – the this and that of yourself – is there room for loving others as they are?

Life, for me, works in cycles. As I look around in nature, I find it beautifully balancing out its extremes to ensure the well-being of the entire ecosystem.

This Solar Transit in Gate 15 is about your rhythm and being flexible and adaptable to the different rhythms of your life. You can love the extremes of your own rhythms; for example, feeling social and spending five nights in a row out with friends, and then staying home by yourself for a week in solitude. The possible extremes are lived out in life’s rhythms.

And still, sometimes things just stop working like they once did. This can be a signpost to step back … adjust and adapt how things are being done.

WHEN YOU’RE IN THE FLOW, EVERYTHING YOU DO IS EFFORTLESS.

And, this transit energy brings the potential of accepting other people without judgment. This can bring diversity into the flow of life. Is it possible for you to accept and find a place in society for the full spectrum of what it is to be human?

This type of love and compassion is not about how you connect with others, but rather how you can project a transpersonal love for humanity’s diversity out into the world.

When guided by your inner truth, this energy has the potential to influence how you deem what is acceptable, balanced and integrated by society.

Can you be compassionate, understanding and accepting of the diverse and opposite tempos that are a part of humanity?

And can we all fully embrace and promote for all of us what it means to be human?

If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation. ― Lao Tzu
