As OC16 Consultants we have and can offer the tools to analyze how management interacts with the different groups within their organization, and we are able to establish healthy lines of communication, which will have a great impact on the functionality of the organization and its stability.
Hierarchy
When we look at the definition of ‘hierarchy’ in the dictionary, we read: “the upper echelons of a hierarchical system; those in authority. An arrangement or classification of things according to relative importance or inclusiveness.”
As we can see this incredible governing force gets always established within humanity, civilization, the family, and the tribe.
The scientific community as we know has long established that there is in fact a hierarchy within nature and the animal kingdom. In any large organization with more than 10 people there is the authority figure for example the CEO/President. In the business world, senior management has always been the organizing mechanism.
A hierarchy refers to the levels of management in any business, from highest to lowest. Those on a higher level have more decision-making power and control than employees who occupy a lower level in the hierarchy. Lower level workers take direction from higher level employees. Most businesses have three levels of management in place. Within this structure of upper management there is always inevibility politics that lead to tensions among the different individuals and groups, typically speaking there is yet to be a method or an approach that efficiently integrates or applies the correct or much needed tools to open clear lines of communication that will bring well-being to each level of the organization, establishing a strong foundation that will lead to the vision and fulfillment of the company or enterprise.
Top-Level Management
Owners and senior managers have the most responsibility in the company, they make decisions regarding the direction the company will take, and have the last word on proposed changes to business procedures. Everyone else in the company takes direction from the top-level managers.
Top-level managers hold the maximum responsibility in the company. OC16 consulting offers the various keys that are essential to having a clear understanding of the politics and tensions that exist inherently within upper management. Engineering a large organization is very much like constructing a puzzle where each member is positioned where their natural talents lay, in doing so it eliminates any internal strife within the group. As OC16 we have the knowledge to offer higher management the assessment and engineering tools (Groups above 10). It’s all about putting the locks and keys together. You have all these people trying to fit into these Organizing Channel roles, but they don’t have the key because it’s not in their design. If we put the right keys into the right locks then we’re going to see the opening up of the possibility for symbiotic relations.
