The Creative Code is the second class I have created from a simple idea. It’s not an easy process to create a course from scratch. Both classes started as an idea that I thought, or more accurately hoped, I could turn into a full-length class. It’s an exhilarating process, yet, also gut-wrenching at times.
Jumping in is a great way to find inspiration and motivation to create something unique. What gives me the courage to do this is having a relationship with my, what I call, my Creative Muse. Tapping into the inner Muse allows me to create something meaningful and hopefully helpful for my students.
What is a Creative Muse?
The idea may seem strange to some. My experience of the Creative Muse is an inspirational force that helps me unlock my creativity and generate new ideas.
The concept of the Muse is often associated with the idea of a muse from Greek mythology. This divine being offers guidance and inspiration to those seeking to create something new.
We all have a Creative Muse ready to inspire us. This Muse can be a powerful source of creative energy, enabling us to express ourselves in novel ways. This Muse can manifest itself in various forms, such as sudden ideas, inspirations, images, and memories that can open up new perspectives and lead to creative outlets.
I want this class to be an empowering experience, helping you to recognize the uniqueness of your Creative Operating Style. We’ll work together to bring your Creative OS to life, and your Creative Muse can play an essential role in this.
There’s a three-part process that we’ll be working with.
- Understanding your Creative Code Keynotes
- Learning to Tap into your Muse to bring your Creative Code alive.
- Learning Lab – Developing a creative project
The Creative Code Keynotes arise from various aspects of your Design that represent your unique creative essence. Once you understand your Creative Code Keynotes, you can use them to tap into your Muse and bring your creativity alive.
Creative Project as a Learning Lab
The third part of the Creative Code is developing a creative project as a tool to apply your newfound knowledge. Through your project, you can deepen your creative awareness and learn and grow as a creative individual.
The project is something that you care about and that you can actively work on throughout the Creative Code class. The project’s goal is to allow you to explore your creativity and express yourself in new and authentic ways.
Why Focus on the Creative Muse in a Human Design Class?
Ra would mention his relationship with his Muse during his lectures. He spoke in fond terms and how it influenced his day-to-day teaching. He often taught multiple classes daily and needed to keep his inspiration alive and flowing. I had the sense that his Muse was instrumental in that process!
In one week, the Creative Code class will begin. I’d love for you to join us if you’re feeling inspired!
