International Human Design School & BG5 Business Institute Partners with Mari Smith as Strategic Marketing Advisor and Brand Ambassador
Bringing 18+ years of social media leadership together with five years of Human Design training, Mari Smith partners with IHDS and BG5BI to help modernize and expand their global digital presence.
The International Human Design School (IHDS) and BG5 Business Institute (BG5BI) are delighted to announce a new strategic collaboration with renowned social media marketing expert, Mari Smith.
In this role, Mari will provide high-level marketing guidance, co-create video content, and help expand the global visibility of both organizations as the official source of education and certification in the Human Design System. This is a part-time, independent consulting engagement that allows Mari to continue leading her own business ventures while partnering closely with IHDS and BG5BI.
Mari Smith, widely known as the ‘Queen of Facebook,’ brings over 18 years of experience as a sought-after, social media thought leader, speaker, and trainer. She has been leading the field in relationship marketing, brand visibility, and community growth since she emigrated to the United States from Scotland in 1999. She now brings her powerful blend of online influence and her heartfelt enthusiasm for, and professional training in, the Human Design System into this consulting partnership with IHDS and BG5BI.
This relationship marks a new chapter for both IHDS and BG5BI, ushering in a bold evolution in how the official source of Human Design education and certification shows up in the digital world. Mari has quietly supported both organizations behind the scenes offering strategic input and creative ideas over the past couple of years. Now, she is stepping up to help amplify the mission and legacy of the Human Design System’s founder, Ra Uru Hu, across the globe.
With this new agreement, Mari will help to lead a fresh video-first content strategy, hosting interviews with faculty, and co-developing new community spaces to support both students and professionals. Through her signature blend of clarity, warmth, and digital savvy, Mari is set to transform how these venerable institutions reach and engage with the next generation of Human Design explorers and practitioners.

Mari is a Pure Sacral Generator 1/3 born on the Right Angle Cross of Explanation, with six planetary activations in the Channel of Structuring, and further definition through the Channels of Abstraction, Acceptance, and The Beat. Although Mari had her first Foundation Reading around 2003, her official journey began in earnest on Winter Solstice 2020 with a profound Sacral Response when Human Design came bounding back into her life.
