Gate 40, Gate of Aloneness – Deliverance
August 28 - September 3
LIFE IS A BALANCE OF HOLDING ON AND LETTING GO. ~ RUMI
This Solar Transit arrives with the energy for the transition between struggle and liberation. Gate 40 supports the effort and energy to sustain relationships AND demands the freedom for you to take time to nurture yourself through rest.
From my earlier posts, you may remember that we’re now in the Quarter of Duality and the focus is on relationships. Even though bonding is the theme, sometimes you simply need to be alone and really take a break to rejuvenate.
Deliverance, in this case, is about the Tribal Heart. It’s the heart of relationships with those closest to you. It’s about delivering loyalty to those you hold most dear… and, sustained effort requires rest. This requires giving support and being supported – an energetic exchange.
Do you find yourself overextending yourself for others? If so, do you honor your need to take time to rest? Are those that are closest supportive when you need to take time for yourself?
Notice if you’re being expected to do more right now. Are there requests for pro-bono work, or are you being asked to gift talents and expertise? Are your family, friends or community members asking too much of you – or not?
Are you being asked to prove that you’re loyal? Love yourself by learning to say no when there isn’t energy for something. This simple (but not easy) task helps to keep healthy boundaries so your energy isn’t depleted.
Life isn’t designed to be as hard as you may sometimes make it.
Whatever is blocking you from moving effortlessly and joyfully though life can be disarmed by letting go of expectations or mental stories that distract you from your own authority in life.
Will you surrender to the beautiful flow of your existence by being loyal to yourself first? By doing so there will be enough of you to be loyal to those you hold close.
Within yourself deliverance must be searched for, because each [wo]man makes his own prison. ~ Sir Edwin Arnold
Love Yourself,
