It’s the last, well, I wouldn’t say the last, but it’s perhaps the deepest vanity, that it’s actually your mind that can decide that you like somebody or not, or love somebody or not. For me, it’s one of those great pieces of black humor. It’s your vehicle that lives the life. It’s the vehicle that bonds. It’s the vehicle that mates. It’s the vehicle. And it’s the vehicle that has to decide. It’s not for the Personality to decide. You can see the vanity creep in—me, me—you know. How do I know what my Sacral is going to like? How do I know if I’m going to like it? Well, you don’t. It is part of the great discovery, isn’t it, to find out who you are, who belongs in your life and who doesn’t. These are decisions that are of enormous importance.

I remember my not-self rather well and all my decisions about people were mental. I remember it so clearly, concepts about what this person or that person was, 5/1 with the not-self openness dilemma. I was very good at it, by the way, and made a real mess of things. The vehicle; oh, it’s remarkable what my Spleen tells me. It has changed my whole process, because the Spleen, my authority, is so spontaneous. I never know how long I can like somebody or not. I say that humorously, but it’s true, because my Spleen only goes “yes” or “no” in the moment. And I’ve learned to see that that’s all that my life is about, that’s how I discern from one moment to the next.

We’re all given this beautiful gift of being able to surrender to the vehicle making our lives so much more fulfilling. It’s your vehicle that brings you to signature. It’s not your mind, it’s your body. When everything is right for your body, your Personality just has to go along with most of it. It’s like, yeah, this is ok, I like this, because that’s the way it works. It’s the magic in Strategy and Authority. It really is. The deeper and deeper and deeper that you understand it’s the body’s life. So let the body live its life, let the body have its associates, its friends. Let it select the auras it needs for its process, because what you will see observing that sitting back in the passenger seat, is that you’re getting yourself your life and it’s entertaining, to see it unfold.
