But one of those things about, as a professional looking at somebody’s design for the first time, one of the most important things to calculate, the way in which you dissect that particular chart is to see it in the context of its aura. I don’t think there’s anything that helps understand a person better than by beginning with understanding their aura because their aura is their Type.

We tend to think that the Type has an aura, but the aura is the Type. It is the most powerful expression other than what happens to you when you follow Strategy and Authority because it arises out of that. The thing that truly expresses the differences between Types is the aura.

I’ve made that comment many times about the nature of Generators, this dispute, this ongoing stuff about Generators and Manifesting Generators are really different from each other. Yeah, things are always this and that. But in terms of their aura, they’re not different at all. As a Manifestor with a totally undefined Sacral Center there is nothing more obvious to me than the fact that Generator is a Generator is a Generator. And you can feel it in their aura. And it’s the way that the aura operates.

Not only do we have a way of seeing the Type in the sense of its energetic field, but being able to understand the way in which that operates, because when you understand the way in which the aura works, you can see the aura and its work both in terms of the not-self and the potential of the true self and you get a powerful foundation for the way that you can look at anybody’s design.
